Renewing your Mobile Phone deal?

Posted on 01/03/2013 Some things to consider:-
1) How many phone calls and texts do you actually make?
2) How much data do you actually use?
3)Do you need a new hand set?
It is important to know what your mobile phone usage is as you only want to pay for what you actually need. e.g. do not pay for 1000 minutes, if you only use 500. Have a look at your latest bill for the details.
Unless you must have the latest handset, why not consider just going on a SIM only deal as this will be cheaper.
Also do you like being tied in on a contract? If not, then consider just going on a SIM only deal with no contract. If you do need a new handset consider buying only the handset in a shop or on eBay and then get a SIM card to go in it.
Read any contract you agree to carefully as some suppliers have been putting up the monthly cost even when a phone is within a contract period.
Some suppliers provide budget control to stop you going over your allowed number of minutes and incurring expensive out of contract rates.
